Section 423. Dishonest or fraudulent execution of deed of transfer containing false statement of consideration

This section specifies that whoever dishonestly or fraudulently executes a deed of transfer of any property, or any interest therein, containing, as the whole or any part of the consideration for such transfer, any statement which is false, and which he knows or believes to be false, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
