Section 260. Using as genuine a Government stamp known to be a counterfeit

This section provides that whoever, fraudulently or with intent that fraud may be committed, is in possession of any counterfeit Government stamp, knowing or having reason to believe the same to be counterfeit, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.
